Nice to see this outside the bedroom window as I got up this morning. It spent a hour or so doing what Spotted flycatchers do before disappearing.

Totally agree tea should never be that colour. Chai on the other hand is completely acceptable

Best views I've had of any of the several White rumped Sandpipers that have been on Beacon Ponds over the last month. This one found by Pete Wragg yesterday morning. The total that goes in the report will be interesting. @spurnbirdobs.bsky.social

Sound advice from @nomadbirder.bsky.social Often wondered what he did all day sat at that computer, besides looking out of the window into the garden. I think I'd have added something like 'except probably Ancient Murrelet and Varied Thrush' though.

On daftness alone I would say it's the same bird😂

Great read. Brought back memories of my first trip Had a Cory's at Spurn and as I was off work decided on a whim to go and see Great Shearwater. Succeeded, despite early Sept being a bit late I found out later. And corking views of Sabine's Gull, another lifer. 10x50 Decarems and a Nickel Supra.

Whimbrel on the Humber shore this morning. Great to hear them singing in the murky conditions.

259 Black tailed Godwits on what's left of Kilnsea Wetlands. If we don't get rain, the likes of which would send Noah off to the builders merchants for gopher wood and nails, I suspect it will be bone dry in a week or so. @spurnbirdobs.bsky.social

Faffed about trying to get an acceptable image from a bit of video I took through my scope of the Pom on the salt marsh at Leighton Moss on 5/6. Best result I got is this. Needs to be viewed like an'Old Master'. From a distance.🤗

Strange how they become the best Common Rosefinch you've ever seen when they grace your garden with their presence. Only one in ours last October. @stewchat.bsky.social

Take more than a few farting cowpokes or Ann Margret writhing about in a sea of them to put me off Baked Beans🤤😂

Can't get the image out of my head of Jim Bowen with his arm around Amorim's shoulder saying "And this is what you could've won"😂
