Trying to work out how to be in two places at once, though… given not a lot of CPC is purely #PharmacyTechnician focused it’s a shame these important sessions are back to back in different theatres.

I was lucky enough to get a good queue position when #TheSeagull went on sale last year… obviously Cate Blanchett was a big part of the draw but man did they stack that cast. Phenomenal performances all round, and I really enjoyed the staging.

Well worth going to, what a great evening.

Saw #Cabaret tonight and as it happened both leads were understudied. Amazing performances from both, particularly Damon Gould as Emcee. That’s a name I’ll definitely be watching out for in future.

Saw the Healing Words exhibition at @rcphysicians.bsky.social today. A beautiful collection of objects, mostly books, showcasing some of the history of medicine, particularly what was going on outside of official practice.

Really enjoyed it, it’s free and it runs until July 25th.
The poster for the ‘Healing Words’ exhibition at the Royal College of Physicians. The title is in large orange font near the top, the page background itself is a pale beige colour. Tucked under the ‘n’ and ‘g’ of ‘healing’, following the ‘s’ in ‘words’ is the subtitle in smaller black font: ‘The unofficial story of medical practice in England, 1500-1800’. Below that, smaller still in orange are the dates of the exhibition - 11 September 2024 - 25 July 2025. The main part of the poster is a collage of pictures from the collection. There is a ‘W’ pointing to the lower right corner representing ‘Widdershins’, and opposite that, behind the man in green, the cross bar of a ‘T’ can be seen, indicating ‘Turnwise’.
