No.
By now, you've all probably heard about WalMart removing prices from tags on items, which makes it harder to object when the item rings up at a higher price at the register. I've just seen a video claiming that Dollar General is using this kind of bait and switch pricing, too. 1/4

I have a few questions for all of you.

1. What is the most vivid dream you've had?

2. Do you lucid dream?

3. Do you taste and/or smell things in your dreams?

4. Any recurring dreams, sleepwalking/talking, or sleep paralysis?

5. Have you ever had a predictive dream?

Things that will bother me for the rest of my life, part 76498: we ate at Bay City on one of their last days in business, last week. I left a $30 tip. The amount on my credit card statement does not reflect this. I really hope that waitress didn't get stiffed.

If we little people decide not to do, or are incapable of doing, the most important function of our jobs, we lose those jobs.

If we go on strike, we do not get paid.

No elected officials are losing any pay over the current shutdown.

Tired of the double standard? Vote them out.

Banana pepper. I never saw one that wasn't pickled and sliced. There are many growing outside my house right now. @state-of-the-art.bsky.social laughed and asked if it smelled hot when I sniffed it. (It smelled like a green pepper would.)

In their silence against Trump, business leaders are saying their fear and idolatry of the dollar trumps all. Their silence is cowardice.

Very proud of everyone I saw at the #handsoff protest in York today! We were just driving through, but seeing so many people peacefully expressing what they want from their government did my heart good.

it's kind of fascinating how none of the ideas on how to fix the crisis of masculinity (or male loneliness or whatever) are ever "men work on connecting with each other and being kinder to others"

He confused "transgenic" for "transgender." Then ranted about it. With an international audience.

If this was your grandfather, you'd take away the car keys and arrange for round the clock care. This is elder abuse, and making policy based on it is insanity.

If this really is the end of How We've Always Done Things, for this country, maybe something great could rise from the ashes. But Gen X gets screwed again. We never had a great job market, but we survived. We aren't young, though, and a collapse wouldn't leave us much time to rebuild our lives.

So, a billionaire, who made his money directly from the suffering of us "little people," has been shot. Wealth inequality in this country is beyond extreme, with the top 10% owning almost 2/3 of the total wealth.

Isn't this how the Russian revolution started?
