Friends Steph Rue and Esme Cabrera and I gathered this week to harvest invasive French broom for papermaking experiments alongside Sausal Creek in Oakland, partnering with creek restoration efforts. We only cleared a small section, and cleared space for a few toyon seedlings we came across!

The unhoused Wood Street Commons community was recently robbed and needs $4500 to replace the money they were raising to purchase a van to continue street medicine work. I know everyone is feeling short right now, but please support them if you can. See the link in post to donate.
