All Five Eyes partners need to presume that ALL US government IT systems are now insecure.
Similarly the EU need to treat any data interchange agreements with the US as null and void.
This includes cloud hosting on Azure, AWS and Google (not that anyone uses Google Cloud ;)

Random computers being plugged into federal networks is obviously terrifying in terms of what data they're deliberately accessing, but it's also terrifying because it implies controls are being disabled - unmanaged systems should never have access to this data. Who else has access to those systems?

After many years in #AWS, I decided to explore gcp , and I’m blown away by how security-first GCP is! Every single API for creating infrastructure is disabled by default—no Buckets, no #k8s, nothing until explicitly enabled. Such a refreshing approach #CloudSecurity #GCP
