The AMS is temporarily opening its career services to all who need them, regardless of membership status, and offering dues waivers and meeting registration fee reductions for those impacted by job loss due to changes in the government.

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

I spoke at a 2021 campaign event with @mayorwu.boston.gov about the pressing need to electrify the BPS fleet. I'm ecstatic at the progress being made on that front!

This is a big step in Boston's climate leadership!
EPA Grants BPS $35 Million to purchase 125 new electric school buses.
This will help Boston reach its goal of having a fully electric school bus fleet by 2030.

Just like climate change won't be solved by any one US president, climate action won't be stopped by any one president. Will you keep fighting for the climate action?

In the wake of a historic Gulf Coast blizzard, climate change denial talking points will have a renewed vigor. Here's a handy cheat sheet for how to engage with deniers:

At this rate, and with already more than 3 inches of snow on the ground... New Orleans could really make a run at the 8.2" all time record today.
This is just absurd! SNINCR 2/3 (2 inches accumulation in the last hour, 3 inches on the ground) at New Orleans, along with 1/8 mile visibility.

I'll be heading out there tonight. It'll be windy with a chance for snow showers until 8pm. Hopefully the winds aren't too much of a problem, but a few flakes will just make the tree lighting better!
Join @mayorwu.boston.gov tomorrow from 6-8 p.m. for the 83rd annual Boston Common Tree Lighting! 🎄✨ This cherished tradition with Nova Scotia celebrates holiday cheer, history, & community.

📺 Tune in live on @wcvb5.bsky.social at 7 p.m.

the first snow of the season is always magical, especially when you didn't forecast it and it really does show up ✨magically ✨

Morning flurries over KJFK today were largely unresolved by mesoscale models, but there was just enough moisture and vertical motion to get a few flakes to the ground. A little less moisture, but could happen again in the NYC area tomorrow.

Lake effect off all of them at once is a beautiful phenomenon. Some locations on the south coast of Lake Erie are expecting more than 3 feet of snow through the weekend.
