that's precisely the use case I have in mind. sometimes I'm actually the 'other person' who is working from a different machine. really enjoy your YT videos. I feel the same way about how these tools are super powers for experienced developers

do you have opinions on using project management tools like linear or GitHub for creating/tracking changes with specs? I like when the comment history tells the whole story of how the spec has evolved

apparently, shameless idolatry is tax exempt

Our founders wrote a whole document to protect nobodies (including you and me). It would be less meaningful if this was a somebody. I'm celebrating on behalf of all of us nobodies. Just like the fabric of a flag, democracy frays first at the edges

Being 92% against attacks on our democracy is NOT good enough. This is condition RED. We need a true opposition party that is actively fighting 100% to save our democracy and resisting those who want to trash it. If this isn't the Dem party, we will need to face facts and move forward another way

Could NOT agree more!! We must fight together to protect our democracy. If anyone is looking to find others in their local area, check out @indivisible.org (indivisible.org)

Especially in districts with upcoming elections, but really in ALL districts, Dems should be organizing town halls for ALL voters. The key is sincerely being on the side of ALL voters. This is not a D vs. R situation. We've got to recognize that we want to win for everybody

just curious. can you share more about the desire for private profiles? I assume it's not the same as simply having a profile unconnected to your actual identity. is it a desire to share some but not all aspects of one's public identity?

This. I'm popping the popcorn in anticipation of watching an ecosystem develop. I feels like the early early days of browser wars. There will be chaos but I think some really clever apps (doing things the majors can't easily do) should emerge.

I've been wondering the same thing. interestingly, the answer could be either or BOTH. AT proto opens up lots of options.

The entire bluesky app, itself, is open sourced on github. you can fork that and make changes.

also, there's a tutorial on the at proto site to build a super simple app using the protocol. this is where I would start

I haven't come across at proto boiler plate apps

I've been looking for a group doing this because I want to help build it. I don't think it requires a mark Cuban to do it, but I have come to the same conclusion he has. what if we are that group? it can really start with a lexicon. then multiple teams can build their preferred viewing app
