I just finished watching Carry-On, put on as a dumb, turn-off-my-tired-dad-brain movie and it was fun. It's nice to see a competently made, mid-level thriller and it accomplished what it set out to do I think.

This will likely be the first movie my 4-year-old gets truly excited to go see in theatres. Hopefully it's better than that dreadful bore of a movie, Chunky Chimp.

I'm late to the party, but I just finished Past Lives. It was quiet, for sure, but built upon itself to an end that surprised me in its ability to release so much pent-up emotion with a powerful goodbye to the lives one might have had.

Can attest these covers are even more beautiful in person. I'm almost done my reread of the OG trilogy and cannot wait to crack open Absolution.
