The #Mets will be retiring David Wright's number 5 and inducting him into their hall of fame on July 19. He holds franchise records for hits, doubles, walks, RBI and runs. Until 2012, he was on a hall of fame trajectory, but injuries got in the way.
Still, a well deserved honor. Congrats to him!

Worth mentioning - the numbers and the letters on the #Mets jerseys look like they've been restored to their original size/shape, ie pre-2024.
