1: On the playground, children present chalk drawings. „The scariest thing I can think of is … the monster living under my bed.“ 2: A boy is a little embarassed and says „I’m not afraid or anything like that, but there’s something going on with my aunt’s doll collection.“ 3: Amina drew a tiny cute ghost „Mother said not to upset Helena again… ghosts, maybe?“ 4: Helena points to a detail of a werewolf. „This werewolf acts as a measurement…“ 5: The whole drawing is her big sister Cécile chomping on a werewolf! „To show nothing compares to my sister!“ 6: Their teacher Miss Egli has joined and looks on, proudly. „What a constructive little game. But I must interject.“ 7: She holds up her finger, saying „Children, every horror you’re able to imagine is on e you can overcome!“ 8: She’s been holding a watering can and now she’s erasing all the chalk drawings „…Then you only have to fear the unimaginable ones.“

147 Knowledge 1: Helena is looking outside the classroom from her desk, speaking in someone else’s voice. „Look at these children in their cage“. 2: There’s a sparrow jumping on the window sill. „Isn’t it weird humans spend all their time inside trying to learn about the outside?“ 3: The sparrow flies away. „They could join us and learn just as much.“ Helena’s deskmate is saying „Why are you pretending to be a bird?“ 4: Helena tells him „Because birds can’t talk. I learnt THAT in class, though“.

Helena is distracting her neighbour. „Would you call teacher if my books exploded?“ „I guess so.“ 2: Helena has a huge head that’s floating from her body! „Would you call teacher if my head swelled up?“ „We need to study.“ 3: Helena is a dragon, spitting a lil bit of fire. „Would you call teacher if I turned into a dragon?“ Classmate’s standing up, yelling „Miss egli!“ 4: Classmate and teacher are looking sternly at the dragon Helena. „And I’m not even a dragon … yet.“

1: Helena is walking from the playground while everyone else is playing. „Seeing as the yard’s so crowded… I’m making my way to class early.“ 2: Everyone is still playing, not noticing. „I’m showing teacher I’m doing my best!“ 3: Helena has returned to the playground. Everyone else is running inside. „Turns out I forgot my satchel.“ 4: To the ring of the bell, Helena walks back in. „Maybe my second best…?“

It’s still early!“ A dog is peaking over a fence. 3: Helena has turned around to pet that dog. „Hey, buddy! What’s your name? I’m Helena! My, what a good dog!“ 4: Helena is sitting by the playground by herself. The jungle gym is overcrowded. „If only there were bad dogs…“

Bye, Mom!“ 2: Helena is again peaking through the front door, yelling upstairs. „Forgot to say lunch was delicious! Bye, Mom!“ 3: Helena is in the foyer once more, this time petting King. „Forgot to pet King! Bye mom“ 4: Helena’s mother is holding the door shut with her feet, peaking through the window. „Bye, honey!“

From the kitchen, Mom yells: „Helena, you’ve got to ready for school“ „I am ready!“ 2: „That’s unusual“. „I made myself ready so I could watch some tv for once…“ 3: Mom points to the TV. „For that you’re willing to get ready early?“ „Mom, please…“ 4: „This is the only time I have the TV to myself“ Helena is watching infomercials.

141s Limbo 1: A shirt is floating in the void. „This isn’t fair“ 2: In a flashback we see Helena leaking ink on her shirt during class, while the shirt who has a face where a pocket should be looks on horrified. „It’s the girl’s fault!“ 3: The shirt is being stretched painfully while floating in the void. „Now I have to do penance for HER sins?“ 4: The shirt looks almost like a jellyfish in water … „Why do I have to suffer this purgatory?“ 5: The shirt is being pulled in a spiral „The void is releasing its grip! The suffering is coming to an end!“ 6: „Praise Be!“ It yells from inside the washing machine. 7: Helena is checking the shirt for stains, she’s lying nervously: „Wow I can barely see the stain! I think that’ll do“. 8: „Nonsense. Back it goes.“ Her mom takes the shirt and puts it in the washing machine.

So you don’t get it dirty.“ 3: Helena has revealed her shirt, which is full of ink stains. „It’s already dirty.“ 4: Mom is nonplussed „Then let us eat while it’s hot“.
