I don’t know what prompted a Manc to call me a thief last night as I got up during the intermission at Peter Kay, I know the morons usually can’t help themselves at the footy but I’d expect to be able to go and enjoy a night out with my Mrs without tired old Scouser tropes.

You’re always on a hiding to nothing in these games. You’re expected to batter the nine nil, with no credit being given for doing it. If they get past the halfway line they’ve stretched you. You’re expected to turn up, win and there are very few positives. So what did we get?

Meant to post this here too. The things I hate most about modern day football. The fact that these are given as fouls multiple times in every game. Player just throws himself in to Gordon. Embarrassing. #NUFC

I stayed off here more or less yesterday as I was livid over a point and I’m just catching up with the Trent fallout. For what it’s worth I don’t think Trent’s display yesterday is as much to do with Madrid as some of you may believe. Our reaction may have its roots in that but Trent has bad games.

I hate to admit it. I certainly wouldn’t want a Manc to see it (I’ve already praised them for bringing their A game, that’s enough) but this is exactly how I felt. I had to keep reminding myself we didn’t lose, which in effect gives them a victory😂
Apologies. Six clear. Just saw yesterday as a defeat. Forgot they still give you a point even if you walk out livid.

Another bonus of abandoning twatter is that it leaves me to exclusively focus on this place. No matter how hard you try, you can’t run two accounts. I’d drifted back more to the other place mostly because of the reds. The success of Bluesky is in our hands.

I don’t know what to make of yesterday. Normally I’d be fine with a draw like that. I just think either a bit of complacency set in, sloppiness, especially for the first and that having wrestled control of the game back, we went slack again. Still, six points clear and all that. Allez Les Rouges
