from a MV I did for #AKB48 a gig I never imagined for myself, but it did allow me to go again with the great #ShinjiKimura who provided wonderfully detailed BG layouts (fusing Leb Woods and Shin Takamatsu!)

Not without rough patches, but filmmaking in Japan has worked out okay for me. I couldn’t have made #Tekkon in the US anyways (I know because I tried for years and it was always, “Make Shiro a girl,” or, “People don’t want to see an action movie about kids.”)
