Kieślowski’s Three Colours Trilogy and The Double Life of Veronique. I saw them all when they were released, have rewatched them several times in my life (including last year), and they still move me as much as they ever did, while I find new things in them each time. 🇫🇷💙🤍❤️🇪🇺

The first song on the first album I bought of hers, soon after its release. I didn’t get it at first, but then I was walking home at night listening on headphones & it suddenly clicked. The vocal melody & the guitar just struck me as so beautiful, & I thought, oh, she really *is* good!

A thoughtful examination of an underrated episode! It’s not surprising that Melinda Snodgrass, who also wrote “The Measure of a Man”, has a legal background. I also like episodes where Data is on a planet without his friends/colleagues. For me, these culminate in the wonderful “Thine Own Self”.

It’s a beautiful song, & I just love her phrasing! Like the way a Star Trek actor like Jolene delivers a line, the pleasure it gives? Pretty much like that!
