Prof. Stephanie Schwerter (Université Polytechnique des Hauts de France) gave a very enjoyable lecture on the challenges of translation to staff & students from our department today. Prof. Schwerter is visiting MIC as part of a teaching mobility agreement signed last year between our 2 institutions.

Huge FÉLICITATIONS to our former graduate @conorsheehan.bsky.social on his election to Dáil Éireann yesterday! Conor started French with us at MIC as a complete beginner in 2011 and ended up being awarded the French Embassy Prize at his graduation in 2015. We’re proud of you, Conor!
