“The power of divide and conquer is in its ability to create artificial divisions among people who would otherwise unite against a common oppressor.” Angela Davis
Buckle up because we are entering a retirement crisis, and many people are going to have little choice but to use the equity in their homes to supplement their meager savings.

I would love to read this, but it's hiding behind a paywall, and I'm sorry I am not about to patronize that rag.

Deadly?

Hmm, I think I disagree on this. The home as an asset is going to become a very important asset for retirement very soon.

Same for someone with a much lower net worth who leaves a home to their heirs. This step up in value is good as it helps build generational wealth. I agree with your overarching point, however. Billionaires certainly dont need this perk.

It would be great if Pritzker said something like, "I don't know what Pres Trump is talking about. I'm 6'4" and 220 lbs according to my doctor. And my doctor is way better than his!"

Yes, I do, I am just not sure he is an A1b. So... maybe not as well as I should?
November 25, 2025 at 5:20 PM
Is he a front-line starter who is an A1b?

That wasn't actually a good thing. The Government’s black ink is the People's red ink and vice-versa versa.

One school of thought is that raising rates are actually inflationary because they provide income to those who already have wealth, at the expense of those who dont.

Also the Fed is more worried that the labor market, the other responsibility of the Fed, is about to crack.

Same

💯 agreement on that!

Not the "it's the right thing to do" part

86 Democrats voted to condemn ideals that brought us Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, plus a host of other programs and policies that help working class ordinary Americans. Instead, they chose to pander to their big $ donors. How utterly American.

I doubt it

Upon further review, I think @malwarebytes.com may have jumped the gun. I have seen other reputable organizations www.pcmag.com/news/google-... and techspot report that Google flat out denies they do this. Now, it's fair not to believe Google but like you I'm going to need more evidence.
Google: No, We're Not Secretly Training Gemini on Your Gmail Account
A Google spokesperson has said that claims about Google Gemini automatically accessing users’ Gmail data to train the AI model are false, following rumors circulating on social media.
