There aren’t enough words in existence to describe the experience of going to a David Byrne show. Nothing else in the world is like it.

Neko Atsume is the best phone game. I mean just imagine opening your phone and seeing these kitties at work.

My attempts at making concert pictures usually don’t go very well so I just did one shot and went with it. I went to Apocalyptica, Lindsey Strirling, and Halestorm. Lindsey is somewhere in the middle of this shot. 10/10 would recommend.

And here’s the highlight of the Minnesota State Fair, the Llama and Alpaca Costume Contest. There are three age classes. The first three are the class winners. The Toothless one is my favorite of the others and was second to the Moana one.

I went to Stone Arch Glass Studio for a glassblowing intro. I tried to make a disc and it ended up being its own thing. 10/10 would recommend.

Eau Claire has an excellent library. You can check out art, board games, a pressure cooker, etc. There’s also a patio with Loll furniture and a view of the river.

Peavey Plaza is an incredible piece of brutalist architecture, right in downtown Minneapolis next to Orchestra Hall and WCCO.

Cafesjian Art Trust in Shoreview has some impressive glass art, including a Chihuly. The restaurant next to it is pretty good too.
