At first, nothings wrong.
Then, a dull pain.
You can’t afford a crown, so they drill and rip it out.
Excruciating pain, weeks of swelling and recovery.
Eventually it heals, but it doesn’t feel right, something will always be missing.
Hugh Laurie saves you

I binged this show in 2 weeks and that’s the only way i would have ever gotten through it. 9/10 Show go watch it.
i have a very weird but accurate analogy for it, and then i’ll talk about it more in depth —>

It was like Star Trek but unrefined, intentional or not, it felt right.
I might add more.

I genuinely could not tell you a lot of what happened with the Xindi because I was disappointed by the direction this season took with it's writing. I had a hard time believing that this was supposed to be the seed from which The Federation was born. -->

The other crew members felt like they were just planted as a balancing act for Archer's fluctuation; they were never given an opportunity to be anything more than a counterweight. If you take out one character, Archer, there's no a lot happening and it feels stagnant. -->

T'Pol was astounding, I know a lot of people hold contempt for her being a "boring" Vulcan, but I really think she was a great contrast to Archer+crew for the first 2-3 seasons. Season 4 she was also interesting, but I think they faltered a little with her writing. -->

Archer was confusing, sometimes a better role model than Sisko, and other times more ruthless and cutthroat than Janeway. It felt like his character was the anomaly in any given crisis, whether he would handle things amicably or go all rogue cowboy.
The actor, 10/10 perfect -->

The clear difference from (chronologically) future shows to Enterprise was apparent in the technology. It was refreshing to see the struggles that could in turn be the cause of invention and innovation for the future.
The cast was another big plus. -->

To start, I was a little disappointed in how human characters regarded a more advanced species overall.
The cold war was interesting at the start, I liked the mystery surrounding all of it initially, but then I got confused, annoyed, and eventually it resolved very neatly.. -->

Blanket statement; I do not think I ever liked Captain Archer. Most of my negative thoughts in each season come from my dislike for Archer's writing and odd turbulent character development.
I rarely agreed with the reasoning for his actions, even when i agreed with the results.

I love binge watching all sorts of TV. This is going to be my thread of series I watch, and definitely a lot of hot takes/opinions.
