I went into the mudroom, made sure there were none on me, then took off my gear, hand throbbing. I picked up the glove. And noticed, for the first time somehow, a section of glove that is MESH.

You flood it! With soapy water so the tiny evil creatures suffocate. Sounds easy enough! But... *first you have to find the small entrance to the tunnel that leads to the underground nest*.

It's book birthday eve for THESE HEATHENS. The main character is based on my grandmother and I'm thinking a lot about what she passed on to me. A way with words, excellent skin, and the belief that I'm special. She would've LOVED this book.
