Living in a third world country it seems. Power been off since Friday morning, not expected to be restored for ANOTHER EIGHT DAYS! We’ve known this storm was coming for ~10 days before it hit and it’s only NOW that plans are being put in place to bring in extra engineers from Europe?!

Sorted, I believe it was some sort of a local routing issue in pfsense.

Changed my profile pic earlier today as for the first time in 40 years I was reunited with the famous Ferranti ULA as used in the Acorn Electron, one of my first childhood computers. Looking forward to getting the old girl fired up after some repairs #8bit #retrocomputers

The benchmark for bullshit

Some items still show "Awaiting delivery" after being delivered. It's almost like they want you to loose track of what you've got and what you haven't.

The worst thing about ordering components on Aliexpress? The amount of junk they email. My inbox has 300 odd emails from them since 29th November for approx. 25 components varying from eeproms to SMD caps & transistors. Their order tracking page is no better.

How did you find their delivery time? on 26/11 I placed two orders, Global Standard one arrived much quicker than expected (about 5 days total vs the 8-12 business days quoted) However the other order placed a few hours later is stuck in Northampton since 9th!

I’m using it at a remote location on sky FTTC service. Seems there’s mixed reports about using with other ISPs.

Should read you *set* it up. Example of how it uses "services"

In short, Yes. You need a workaround. In each rule you it up based on "service" it only allows the service to be entered once. However it doesnt stop you adding additional "services" and allocating them the same port. If multiple IPs in a range no need for the workaround.

It has a fairly substantial range of options for an average consumer device.

Lucky you! We've had an oil leak at our tank so boiler is off. Only heat is coming from the electric Aga in the kitchen and underfloor heating in ensuite 🥶
