This also tracked with their moral beliefs (e.g., that it would be "less okay" to transgress against robots, that robot transgressors deserved greater punishment, etc.). Ascribing greater mental life to robots also predicted fair donation behavior in the Dictator Game. (6/7)

In this vein of studies, we observed a robust tendency: Younger children were more likely than older children to think of robots as "experiential" (e.g., capable of feeling scared, hungry) --- just as children generally were more likely to think this way than adults. (5/7)
