I have opinions, but I do listen.

2nd, TAT2, was raised by the CCGS John Cabot during a bottom survey for CANTAT—2. I have a small section of that cable it had been in operation until the late 50s, I believe.

Great article! One small niggle, the first trans Atlantic telegraph cable(s) were landed in Newfoundland from Ireland, not the “US”. From Newfoundland they connected with a cable, laid previously from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia and then to the US.
A section of the earliest cable was raised by ..

Philandering President honoured by philandering Royal — pfft!

Well, your VicePresident certainly seems to imply that.
Sadly when the Democrats are finally in a position to bring the Perps to justice, true to form their resolve will dissolve, paving the way for maga’s return to power.
Question is, will anyone have stomach for US version of the Nuremberg trials?

Years ago in DC for meetings & having a little time to kill before my return flight, I visited Rosevelt Memorial.

We have a lot of work to do with Europeans.
During previous softwood wars our lumber was committed to that market only to be withdrawn when US disputes were settled.
We have to show commitment and that starts with e.g. opening new 🇨🇦Trade offices there while closing our 14 US offices.

If I’m a New Brunswick sawmill owner and I haven’t been spending all my waking hours since November marketing my production to the EU then I shouldn’t expect my shortsightedness to be rewarded by taxpayers, help for your employees yes but you need to be a whole lot smarter.

Sadly because of their thuggish president, Americans will once again have to travel the world with a low profile.
