Note to people working in a shop. If you don’t have any bags available, tell the person as they walk in the shop, or stick a sign on the door. Don’t wait until your customer has filled a basket with shopping that they can’t carry and is about to pay for it. Just happened to me. So fucking annoying.

Went round to see my folks today. Had harissa marinated roast chicken for dinner. This is the first time in my 44 years on this planet that I’ve had harissa. It will not be the last. Absolutely amazing. How did I not know about this until now?

Watched Jackie Brown last night. I still have it in my top 3 Tarantino movies. It’s based off an Elmore Leonard book and he’s one of my favourite authors, so I’m slightly biased. Just love Pam Grier and Sam Jackson in this. Robert Forster too. Great dialogue and story. Really under appreciated movie

This France v South Africa game has all the hallmarks of an absolute classic rugby match. Just like their last one. South Africa have got about 6 guys in their pack that make Jack Reacher look like Michael J Fox. Insanely huge dudes all round. The skills from France are beautiful to watch.

Okada is a much bigger rival to Tanahashi than Nakamura ever was. Tana and Okada changed the business with their rivalry. Drew more money than Tana and Nakamura. Had better matches too. Get off your silly obsession with bitching about AEW and learn your NJPW history before talking shit fed boys. 🤼

Scotland v The All Blacks in rugby today!! We’ve never beaten New Zealand. Ever. In like 100 years of trying. They’re incredible. But we’ve been banging on the door of being a real top side for a few years now. Not confident of a win, but hoping for a big performance. Murrayfield will be bouncing!

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

I’m not a tribalistic wrestling fan. I just think WWE is an evil corporate entity, with a rich history of drug deaths and sexual abuse, who fleece their fans for every last penny they have, while simultaneously destroying any competitor in an attempt to reduce the pay and options of wrestlers. 🤼

Moaning about AEW adding a title belt is silly. They’re not real. They aren’t devalued by another if booked well. This one seems like another way to unite promotions, get guys on other shows, and give those matches a little more prestige. This reactionary pearl clutching by some fans is annoying. 🤼
