My happy place is when people in power question someone’s patriotism, especially lots of someone’s. That’s when the good things happen.

Part of the issue is that Good at Words people are generally inclined to accept that people are all different ways and to think that’s just fine. Good at Math people have been allowed too much room to think that only they have the thoughts that matter.

I do not think studying the humanities is some sort of magical antidote to evil - Peter Thiel exists - but I absolutely do think our cultural values around math and our fertilization of any skill set that makes money above all else are just way out of balance
