A president who can tear down 1/3 of the White House can tear down the entire White House. A president who can steal $230M from the treasury can steal $1T from the Treasury. We have both legalized and tolerated Trump’s crimes, so they will only get bigger.

The No Kings March in Chicago is one of the largest gatherings I’ve seen here. Looking down from by the river, the crowd stretches for blocks down Michigan Ave and wraps around Wacker Dr. This video is from a few minutes ago and the end of the protest is nowhere in sight.

I can’t keep up on the news because there’s only one story: the people in charge shouldn’t be and, because of that, people will suffer and die. It seems increasingly futile which topic leads me to that same conclusion.

I’ll say this as many times as I have to.

No tax cut in the history of tax cuts has ever paid for itself. Not a one.

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Trump wanted to cut off aid to Ukraine to please his handler Putin. He set up the Oval Office ambush to create an excuse to do so.
It's obvious.

In a functioning democracy, a president who
-tries to seize Congress's constitutional spending powers
-attempts to rewrite the Constitution unilaterally
-pardons violent insurrectionists who attacked the government
-fires the Inspectors General and DOJ prosecutors

would face immediate impeachment
