Sounds nice! I took my 86 yr old mum to the cafe next to the medical clinic (after her doctor appointment) & ordered her scrambled eggs on toast for lunch, since she likes that at home, but alas, it was deemed to be “not much chop.” I can’t take her to Dan Murphy’s as she doesn’t drink.

Oops, I thought “Deathly Silent” must refer to the @auspol fed or state govt or opposition response - but apparently it’s the sonic environment on the reef - previously noisy bc of creatures that were part of this ecology, but now - no sound/no life there.

I'm amused by the term nonfiction, which like nonwhite is defined by what it's not, but I did set out to be an essayist, and I'm always pleased to be recognized as one. Have not finished an essay since 9:39am today.
