For 36 years, leaders from both parties have recognized this day. But this year, Donald Trump didn’t think it was even worth a few minutes of his time. Instead, his administration is slashing lifesaving funding and stripping essential resources from the very people who depend on them.

And the simple fact of the matter is that Hegseth was always headed this way, as prior to entering government he had spent the last 10 years of his life advocating for American war criminals and making clear his belief that he does not believe in the concept of a war crime at all

How bloody convenient. His words & moves make the shooting more suspicion imho. Indirectly dt’s responsible, but wouldn’t discount this WH being directly responsible. Imagine a special “envoy” visits this guy with a choice: a “mission” in lieu of deportation back 2Afghanistan. It is what it is.
