Traditionally, the Uber rich get richer through recessions. Middle class takes a beating. They're 5 major banking institutions in our country. My broker says BUY because they're too big to fail, and if they did, the government will bail them out. OMG, what a sad state of affairs.

No mercy unless one's actions demonstrate offensive strategy or tactics to take down autocracy. Resignations are appeasement unless followed by alternative actions.

I think Nixon believed that, Reagan believed it, Cheney believed it, and MAGA supporters believe it. Most Republicans from 60's to present believed this.
