What a joy it is to see the Seahawks defense again making tackles where they wrap the ball carrier. They had gotten into a dive and torpedo tackling style the past couple of years that resulted in too many missed tackles. #seahawks

It fees like the “evaluation” of college signing classes is just an attempt to cling on to something from the past. With the transfer portal all these players will be at new schools in a year anyway.

The lack of individual ability to hold onto the ball when under even the slightest amount of individual pressure is appalling for players that pretend to be professional footballers. We have assembled a squad of players that would get clattered out of the championship. #COYS

Commanders are really getting screwed by the officials this game. I’m sure they will get a nice apology letter from the NFL tomorrow. #NFL

In general a poorly played final by both teams with lots of speculative balls played into the box and lots of booted clearances to no specific targets by defenses. Very few chances created, very little skillful play or patterns of attack shown. Lavelle took the only decent chance of the game. #nwsl

That’s why your trainers have to tell a player they are too injured to continue and sub them out. Lavelle was open for that shot because Hershfeld was injured and tried to stay in the game. Great finish by Rose. #nwsl

Well in a game that had just about everything go against the Hawks, the fact that it came down to a really long kick was surprising.
The Hawks only have themselves (their offense) to blame but the game showed the Defense is for real. They get another crack at the Rams in 5 weeks #seahawks

Well in a game that had just about everything go against the Hawks, the fact that it came down to a really long kick was surprising.

That was an absolutely miserable performance by the Sounders. Give up 2 goals while up a man, require a desperation goal to even up the match and then have multiple opportunities in penalties to win and blow them.
They need some new parts for next season and I’m not talking about RBW and Kossa.
