Dems agreed to the CR in March because they did not want to shut down the government and had hope that there could be some negotiations in the upcoming bill. People knew Republicans would not negotiate. Rs proved that with the OBBB. Now, the only way to get Rs to the table is to force negotiations.

Apparently I am a Heritage American. Though, I disagree with all the right wing BS they are trying to attached to that distinction. Just because my family was here from before the country was formed does not give me any more right to a say in this country than my friends who have become citizens.
