Ok, secular Jew here with an honest question and this seems like a good place to ask. Are Evangelicals or Megachurch Christians considered Protestants? By themselves? By others? Obviously they're not Catholic or Orthodox so I've always assumed they were some random Protestant denom. Is that true?

The end result of your moves are a federal government paying people to tear gas kids and taking away healthcare. People are going to die because of Schumer's 2026 election strategy. Are you capable of calling him out?

You cannot keep adopting a strategy of letting Republican policies harm everyone and hope that voters will reward you in the polls. Illinois is like 20+ Dem and we literally have secret police kidnapping my neighbors. I don't think you realize how upset your constituents are right now.

And you did vote for unanimous consent yesterday. You and your staff need to understand that YOUR BASE are politically savvy and are absolutely fed up with procedural moves that only serve to shield you from criticism. Speak up or you're just as bad and complicit in the death of the ACA as Durbin.

Please vocally call for Schumer to step down as Senate Minority Leader. This strategy has been a disaster. Throwing away everything for 0 concessions. I know furloughed employees that are livid with this deal for empty promises. It's a betrayal. Act like it.

What I'm seeing is Indivisible, one of the largest Dem adjacent activist groups that helped organize No Kings, the largest protest in history, say that we primary everyone who supports Schumers failed leadership. And everyone here saying "hell yeah." We're not staying home. We're cleaning house.

First ep was a bit rote but very well done. 2nd ep was genuinely great. My big issue with BB&BCS is that they're not about anything beyond their plots and character, unlike a Sopranos or Deadwood. Gilligan is a fantastic writer though and I think he might finally have something interesting to say.

I've been critical of these groups for kind of corraling motivated activists to the center of the party, but the actual people in my community that are part of it are basically as far left as any DSA person. They're all PISSED. I don't think the establishment understands how out of step they are.

I did not like Friendship because it felt like an excuse to shit on a Tim-Robinsonesque shaped character. Chair Company, like ITYSL and Detroiters, knows everyone has to have weird ways of speaking and has the potential to be the craziest person on screen, not just Tim.

Thinking about Dick Durbin and Chuck Schumer being part of "The Gang of Eight" that were going to "solve" immigration. Now Chuck and Dick fund the secret police that's kidnapping my neighbors while letting thousands die from lack of healthcare. They have always been frauds.

Anyway, I think Dems are right to believe subsidy expiration, because many Americans will suffer and maybe die, is going to hurt Republicans in the midterms. A less harmful way to do well in elections, though, is to offer voters a compelling vision for why they should vote, affirmatively, for you.
