I’ve relaxed some of the previous limits—originally set to keep things simple. Now you can go as low as 10mm in height! That means it’s much easier to design matching saucers or smaller containers

I also improved how the mesh and wall profiles are optimized. The new default “Z Resolution” is now set to “Optimized”, with a new setting to control the optimization angle. Smoother prints, smarter defaults.

Just finished a design for a large wall-mounted bin! I wanted something functional that also looks clean on a wall or shelf edge. It prints without supports, and doesn't warp, even when printed in PETG.

Just printed a few of my Plant Pot Spacer Rings again, and I’m happy to say they’re still working great after all this time! It’s a small tweak, but it really helps my houseplants avoid soggy roots.

I printed this one using the Wood filament from Extrudr. It’s made from renewable materials like lignin and other biopolymers, and it gives the object a warm, unique texture I really like.

Function Playground’s main settings let you customize the object’s size and shape. You can set height, top and bottom diameter, and control how much the functions affect radius and angle. Since everything runs locally, tweaking the resolution can help performance.

Just pushed a small update to the Function Playground! 🎉 The top and bottom caps now close properly, even in more extreme shapes. Yet, your function still needs to return a valid shape—no magic for overlapping lines. 😄 Also, a second example project to explore!
