Having a lot of fun with the great submissions for TRUNK. From about 500 submissions, I narrowed it down to 5%. Of those, 9 are through editing, 8 are in process, 3 are pending, and 2 didn't make it.
I look forward to sharing these with you next year. There's great stuff in here!

In my experience, with a Nook or Kobo, you can do all vendors except Amazon. For Amazon, you need a Kindle. But we love our e-readers. Great battery life, good storage, and waterproof for the bath, too!

Submissions are now closed for TRUNK.
For the curious:
- Average # of rejections was 27.
- Average story length was 4,500.
- No real difference between held and declined.
HELD for consideration: 14%
That will be trimmed down quite a bit over the next week or so, and more slowly thereafter.

I've said many times that if I only read books by people whose politics I agreed with, I'd read very few books. There just aren't that many vegan, animal rights-supporting leftists writing SFF.
I do try to avoid work by writers I think are just bad people personally, regardless of their politics.
