Repo Man always reminds me of the Toyota Tercel 4WD wagon I used to drive when I taught at a tech school. It was hell on wheels with a pine tree hanging in the rearview mirror! (They all have one.) Also reminds me of your reminder to get a colonoscopy. Appointment made.

These were prisons without due process sanctioned by the state and operating with database technology to streamline genocide in the form of IBM Hollerith punchcards. If America's mighty economy and technology infrastructure fell under the control of a small group of lawless individuals, anything is possible. Never again. #NeverAgain Sincerely, fuck Donald Trump and any of his followers who think emulating fascist dictatorships is a good idea. America has a government elected by the people to do the work of the people, and the apolitical work of government servants deserves to be respected. I expect to pay fair taxes and work towards a common good, even if it takes engaging in good trouble, like John Lewis did. Patriotism belongs to you and me, and doesn't have to look like hate-spewing gassy egodrama. Maybe those who are more here and drawn here want to make the world a better place for everyone's families. Maybe the human race still has a chance if we stand up to fascism when we encounter it, and that includes racism and sexism. Fascism destroys consent and that erodes freedom and decency. We will march in peaceful protest against the liberties being taken against Americans and our land. We will document their actions to defraud the taxpayers and keep receipts from corrupt practices. Let's go fill the streets and show some love for truth, justice, and the American way!

I was in a thrift shop yesterday called Fat Rabbit and they had a bin with thousands of weird and interesting stickers for 50p each. I was sorting and classifying them and thought of your arrangements. I could see the "Be Curie-ous" sticker decorating an old green bottle holding a strange "sample".
8 stickers of varied and unusual nature, including a punk rock skater jumping and reaching, a large gauntlet pointing This pair is arranged similar to the creation of Adam on Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling. An Art Nouveau tattoo lady, a butterfly surrounded by purple flowers, and a "Louisville Grows" sticker make up the middle row. I caught a carpenter bee doing her thing. Beanie will definitely have a bunch of beans! Maybe Beanie 2026 is being pollinate right now!

Lush thick foliage of hyacinth bean vines cover a section of fence with stalks of magenta flowers protruding as bees and other pollinators tend the blooms. I have affectionately named this planting "Beanie" after Nancy Shanks, a friend of Tori Amos since childhood and the subject of her songs "Jackie's Strength" and "Carbon".
