Feels like they've let a bit more light in, normally something that would turn me off, but I'm really liking it. Same for the new Allegaeon, a band I've struggled to connect with in the past, but that's hit the spot today. Go figure 🤷🏼♂️

Funny enough, I only got round to ordering a vinyl copy a few weeks ago, and it arrived this week with a lovely handwritten note from the band. They're playing London in May, will try to check them out.

Although 8 minutes long it feels like 3. My autistic ass is terrible at picking up influences but I hear a little AJFA period Metallica (but the mix on the instruments, especially bass, is clearer 😉), bit of classic metal, even a nudge towards DM here and there. Love it.
