One thing we can say about MAGA Trump is ever since he came onto the political scene in 2015 he's experienced more things he's never seen before than probably anyone, ever. It seems hardly a day goes by when he claims to have seen or heard something like he's never seen before.

Similarly: However frustrated Americans are with healthcare costs, the solution is definitely not cutting funds for cancer research.
Or suppressing research on bird flu. Or taking down seasonal flu shot PSAs when flu hospitalizations just hit a 15-year high etc.

There are real problems with govt! But DOGE's destruction in no way resembles an antidote.
Like, however bloated the bureaucracy might be, the solution is not indiscriminately firing nuclear weapons inspectors, Head Start staff, law enforcement officers & air traffic controllers
