It's just a matter of time this H5N1 will be knocking on our door in Canada. Whether this article is true or not, Canada already ordered vaccines for the farm workers in case of animal-to-human transmission.
I spent weeks looking at the transmission dynamics of H5N1 in California and came to exactly the same conclusion, namely that the scale of transmission could only be fully explained if long-range airborne transmission was a factor.

While the US is firing the scientists and experts in avian flu, Canada is buying several doses of H1N1 vaccine.
Interesting: Canada is buying 500,000 doses of #GSK 's #H5N1 vaccine "as part of ... contingency planning to protect people who may be at increased risk of being exposed to the virus through [infected] animals."
