Visited GradEx 110 at OCAD U—Toronto’s biggest emerging art + design show.
Standout moment: an Indigenous photographer using traditional printing methods to explore land + memory.

As the year wraps up, I’m reflecting on what stuck with me-like learning with Dr. Ruth Beatty and our MLPs. We explored how story, data, and relationships come together in math-especially through trend lines and narrative-based problems. Math as story.

Supported the expansion of the Skills Ontario this spring-bringing hands-on STEM, trades, and tech to more TDSB elementary students. 33 teams. 4 medals. So much creativity & teamwork. Proud to build spaces where students see themselves as makers, problem-solvers, and innovators

Honoured to be recognized by National Art Education Association #NAEA and to be the only Canadian recipient in 2025. Nominated by the #OAEA, this reminds me how much it means when others take the time to see and celebrate our work. Deep gratitude to the many collaborators I’ve worked with!

A lovely evening listening to the Mēla Quartet with the Toronto Guitar Society. This UK-based quartet has built a reputation for blending traditional repertoire with contemporary compositions. Their performance was intimate, technically masterful yet warm and inviting.
