What most pisses me off about the MAGAs is their delight in spectacles of cruelty combined with their smugness in their own ignorance. Meanness + stupidity = MAGA.

He always promised this is what he would do with his power. He pardoned war criminals in his first term to send this message. He appointed Hegseth to send this message.
Not for nothing, this is also what "thin blue line" flags represent, and people have been slow to understand that, too.

I think it may take a while for people to understand that in pardoning the January 6 rioters and seditionists, Trump is sending the message that people who commit violent acts that he approves of will not be punished.
