Your mileage might vary; but from a Kemetic (Egyptian) perspective at least, the Gods are not genies, and we are not Their playthings. We are something more like Their younger cousins, with freedoms, responsibilities, and abilities that are similar to Theirs.

Let me be clear, I was not friends with Jake-Stratton Kent. I did not know him. I did, on occasion, ask him questions online to which he graciously replied. When I asked, “Is goetia the continuation of the spirit tradition from pre-history?” In his opinion – yes. #goetia #occultsky

Sometimes I feel like my channel languishes because I don’t tell people what to do. I suggest what they could do. But I don’t expect anyone to copy me. It works so much better when you build your own tradition. For me, that means studying what has been done in the past and making it my own.
