The scam is to conflate everything that computers do (or ever have done) with the current "AI" craze, so that the AI scam tech that nobody wants feels inevitable, rather than a tech bubble run by villains, that needs to crash immediately.

I'm realizing working IT from home and being largely very solitary has made it surprisingly difficult to be polite to people I cannot fucking stand
I never used to have to try so hard for this I feel like I've been de-socialized 😭 or way too honest, same thing functionally

On some level I actually do kinda get this tbh
It's not about pissing you off, it's more that even now I sometimes feel a little weird about how NICE everybody is. It feels almost claustrophobic, kinda like how a nice restaurant is less relaxing than a dive bar.
