I interviewed Jimmy Carter in the mid-1980s for the @dallasnews.bsky.social
He was incredibly thoughtful, generous with his time, and passionate about The Carter Center. He became a global ambassador for peace, justice, freedom and democracy, the needy, and decency. #RIPJimmyCarter

Got a photo book officially launching tomorrow (Dec 17). I go to my neighborhood bookstore and what do I see? “Kamala: Her Historic, Joyful and Auspicious Sprint to the White House.” Co-authored with one of the nation’s great visual historians, Deb Willis. 🏆

Donna and I were at a dinner last night organized by our friend Jose Antonio Vargas, who runs Define American. Vibrant discussion about the need for a broader range of documentaries and other storytelling on immigrants’ experiences. Some stories must be told.
