I put info about pre-registering to vote in today's slideshow for class. Most of my juniors weren't aware that you can pre-register in California if you're 16 or 17, so I gave them the link and instructions. I hope they do it! (You better believe that flag was a gif and waving!)

The government is disappearing people but tonight I watched the ISS pass overhead for five minutes and that’s not nothing. It even showed up in a phone photo, heading toward the moon.

Democracy is dying but today I made chicken stock in the Instant Pot, and that’s not nothing.

Today I emailed and called my senators to urge them to protect public lands. We can’t let these places be destroyed forever by development. Keep public lands in public hands!

Just changed the filters in the air purifiers that I used in my classroom all year. I had two large ones in opposite corners (Blueair 211i Max) and two small ones near my desk (Blueair 511). Looks like they worked! #CleanIndoorAir #CleanAirClassrooms
