@dpossler.bsky.social is a Postdoc at the Institute for Journalism and Communication Studies (IJK) at @hmtmh.bsky.social. His research focuses on the use and effects of (digital) media, e.g. how and why digital media offer meaningful entertainment experiences as well as methodological research.

@janadreston.bsky.social is a PhD student at @unidue.bsky.social. Her research focuses on political and scientific communication on social media. She analyses the impact of information processing on knowledge and participation.

Özen Odağ, Professor of Psychology at Touro University Berlin, studies how media can impact users’ identity, political agency, values, and beliefs, especially in vulnerable groups.
As Chair, she plans to embed topics like digital resilience, media literacy, and social responsibility in the division.

@romohseni.bsky.social is a postdoc in the #MediaPsychology and Media Design group at TU Ilmenau. He holds a PhD from the University of Osnabrueck, for which he experimentally investigated in-game aggression and helping. His current research focuses on sexist online hate speech on video platforms.
