Humanist. Atheist. Democratic Socialist. Woke. Ohioan.

If you think any of this makes me a terrorist, then I am glad I scare you.

Politically active IRL.
A.I. is literally teaching incorrect definitions to students because textbook publishers want profit without effort.

Max "Youthful Mistake" Miller is an abuser and a coward who will not come out to face his constituents. His lackeys are aware of no scheduled town halls.

Hmm.. I don't see California, New York, or even Illinois on this list...

Re Illinois: it's easy to look gerrymandered in favor of a party if you can get that party's candidate off the ballots in some districts. I think it's IL's 15th and 16th district that failed to have a Democratic candidate...

Oklahoma's state senate president is totally wrong here. This is not a "bizzare" situation. There is almost nothing more predictable than a conservative not being able to keep it in his pants.

Local MAGA organization finally begins to wake up. They're also no longer displaying Israeli flags among their American flags.

I'd like to think they've learned some lesson from this; but I suspect they are simply waiting for a "believable" excuse to tell them what to think again.

So, uhm... Points for confidence, but ChatGPT draws chemical mechanisms much the same way an organic chemist's 4 year old child might: complete with misspellings, arrows-to-nowhere, and ... well, I would definitely call water magically appearing from nowhere an "aqueous work-up" of some kind 🤣

So, I already know USers are generally dumb; but I can't tell if the upward trend in people believing aliens have visited Earth is evidence of the US stupidifying, or just becoming more vocal about their ignorance.

I wonder how many of the people 'passing through' the "migrant facility" at Guantanamo will leave their shoes behind.

MAGA makes me sick; they were warned.

I notice a bunch of ... people ... who are complaining about ... someone ... having 6th amendment rights ignored.

Here's my brief explainer of what is, and what is not, covered by the 6th amendment's disclosure requirement.

Reminder: The accusations were all "fraud."

Tardigrade!

I got my first really good look at a live tardigrade recently.

Definitely a member of class Eutardigrada. I *think* it's a member of the Hypsibidae family based on the shape of its macroplacoids and claws.

I made naan for the first time today. Turned out well, though the recipe will need some tweaking.

Trying to do a photo study on balance. I think the shoes on the right are too bright compared to the wall on the left.
