Police. Smokeacre, is the home of Charles Thursby-Pelham, MA VetMB CertEP MRCVS - Senior Assessor for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Mr Thursby-Pelham regularly hosts the Mendip Farmers Hunt and has been seen riding out with them too. We will be contacting (7/10)
time.The hunt packed up straight away and returned to the meet at Smokeacre, Norton Lane, but they were unable to leave before the police arrived. A full report, along with our damning video footage of the blatant illegal hunting will be provided to Avon & Somerset (6/10)

There was no sign of the huntsman or hounds. We desperately hope that the fox was able to take cover and go to ground, however we cannot be sure of the outcome and fear the hounds may have killed. The absolutely blatant fox hunting was reported to the police at the (5/10)

behind and pursued the fox’s line in full cry towards the Three Peaks Walk bridleway. Kennel Huntsman, Thomas Haddock, purposely rode into our foot sab as they were trying to stop the hounds. Sabs raced to Blacklands to find the field riders gathered on the bridleway. (4/10)

slapping to scare back any fleeing foxes. The huntsman was also making brrr’ing noises as a fox broke cover and ran across the ploughed field in full view of the riders and hunt staff.A foot sab ran in to cover the fox’s scent with citronella, but hounds were too close (3/10)

Farmers Hunt blatantly hunting foxes just north of the village, off the Three Peaks Walk bridleway. Hounds were picking up on the scent of a fox in a patch of dense scrub off Norton Lane, and riders were positioned along the adjacent track, holding up and saddle (2/10)

opening meet. After losing their initial target stag, the hunt were determined to kill and found a substitute in 60 Acre Wood. The stag was hemmed in by quads, cars and horrible scum and eventually shot close to sabs at 6.30pm. Please help to support our direct action (3/4)

This violent criminal gang were relentless in their illegal pursuit of foxes, including the one pictured who sabs stopped the hounds chasing over White Hill. Multiple other foxes were illegally hunted, witnessed by our sabs, (2/5)
