Why is he disallowing people to demonstrate, especially Oct 18- No Kings Day? Is AACo more dangerous than anywhere else?

I just finished it. A hard read sometimes, but I am grateful that she so beautifully shared her story and reflections. I grew up in a very different church but still recognize some of the same oppression from my own experience. It’s important to share!

I also feel like it’s strange that it’s “life goes on” for most folk, as if none of these horrors are happening. At the same time… well, life goes on.
