10/10, no notes. It was the kids’ bedtime story at one point. “Okay, where shall we go? Shall we avoid that monster, or go for it?”.

Still hoping for a re-release. Even the virtual GameCube platform on the Switch would be good.

Not surprised with Mondolez trying to go cocoa-free. Cadbury’s has for me reduced in quality massively since they took over.
As for carob, it’s nice in and of itself. But it is not chocolate. At all.

The part of the opening scene of Serenity * where the Operative tells the doctor that in a better age people who had messed up as badly as him would fall on their swords springs to mind.

* Yes, the film and its director are as problematic as heck, but the opening scene is a masterpiece.

Now there’s a sentence which would be unintelligible a couple of decades ago.

No.
From the article you link to: “…there are no current plans to ban the use of VPNs".
That doesn’t mean that one or more apparatchik who doesn’t understand you can’t make maths illegal doesn’t have it on their to-do list, but the commercial interests alone (internet banking, frex) will kill it.

As does the BBC. I mean, who wouldn’t want to host “Celebrity Thunderdome” live from the Albert Hall?

I had a copy of “Consequences”. Lost it in a move.
But I do remember the notes where Creme and Godley thought about also hiring Peter Sellers and Peter Ustinov purely for the chaos when they asked Peter to re-do a line.

Ah, the Richard Montgomery.
I think we’re overdue for yet another tabloid article about how the broken WW2 ship loaded with unstable munitions could suddenly EXPLODE and take out Southend…

My current TV is dumb by virtue of its smart gubbins not being supported for almost a decade. Still a very reasonable picture for what I paid for it, and it’s only on its second remote.

I’m with you on this.
I’d settle for a Smart TV that never has to go online even to be set up and which will never be connected to the home network. They still exist, for now.
But I would happily pay a premium for a TV with just an aerial socket and at least 4 HDMI inputs.

Adjusted for inflation, of course.
