I love the show, but it’s interesting to think how this version is controlled by her son. I think Claudia gets more nuanced, but also more unpleasant.

Lestat is part of the vampire theater trial. So, hey, his dad now has more agency too! I liked him being a symbol in that moment and not present.

The right to own media for home watching is a whole saga. Even owning the film for private viewing was litigated. Studios only got onboard when they realized it was a new revenue stream.

But I agree that vhs is a garbage format.

Maybe pedestrians aren’t the problem….
