Finding a cafe with wifi near my kids school is always a challenge.

So my #tarantula has gone into it's hide and completely covered the entrance with substrate. He has been in there for a few days now. Luckily he ate just before going in there.

Decided to invest in the @Runna app in preparation for my #halfmarathon at the end of November. As a non-runner, I knew I needed all the help I could get.
Right now, I have set myself a schedule of running 3 times a week, and strength training with a personal trainer twice a week. (1/2)

Aragog is such a chill little thing.
(My second beginner tarantula owner mistake - handling it so far above the ground. If it fell, it could have been seriously hurt. Learning also that handling should be kept to a minimal... but it is just so tempting)

Fixed up Aragog’s enclosure. Added a hide, more substrate and other items as enrichment (leaves, bark, etc). Apparently having more naturalistic enclosures can help #tarantulas, so hopefully we’re looking good so far.
