While I am frustrated, I have to keep hoping that the teensy steps taken each day are getting me somewhere. Somewhere better, and I hope for more than just myself.

If you’re in an institution doing any kind of DEI work, the most important thing to do right now is simply call it something else. Change it to “Community Outreach” & then keep on doing the same important work. When they outlaw Community Outreach rebrand it as “Strategic Partnerships,” rinse/repeat.
